The above photo shows an Amethyst Scepter
that was found December 3, 2017 by Jeff Ansley
in the tailings pile.
To be honest, this is an exceptional find
because normally the heads are not as gemmy.

You can come dig amethyst crystals
with us!  We have a "PAY TO DIG"' or
"Fee Mining" event on occasion.  Click

Below are a few photos of a superb
Amethyst Scepter that was found just
last week (Dec. 03, 2017).  It is still
dirty in the photos below.

I prefer to post pictures of things that visitors find instead of the
things that I find.  This is because I'd like to give you an idea of
what the general public finds and what YOU have a chance to
find.
Below is a nice scepter that Thom Downs of Lakeland, Florida
found on his visit on December 9th, 2017. Click to enlarge.
Below are pictures of some of the crystals found at our last dig on December 16. The photos of the ones
found by visitors that I took at the mine are a little blurry because it was late in the day and a bit cloudy. The
photos of one that I found was taken under better lighting but they are all shown dirty just like they were found.
